Co-processing & Biorefineries: New Challenges and Potential Solutions  

The Hydrocarbon Processing Industry has been heavily influenced by pandemic, fast-evolving emission reduction policies and now also the unexpected Geopolitical events. New Processes and needs are rising, among which Biorefineries and Co-processing of biofeeds.

In this webinar an excursus of possible issues in processing biofeeds will be covered and a possible set of solutions will be presented.

Francesco Ragone received his PhD in Chemistry in 2011, and after a research grant, he joined Chimec as Technical Engineer & then as Product Manager in the Process Development & Marketing department. Now he is responsible for managing the Process and Deko Development & Marketing departments. He has a Long-term experience in Steam Cracking & Refineries (CDU, Hydrotreating & Hydrocracking Unit, FCC,) developed in more than 60 plants visited especially in the EMEA region.
